We know how important your wedding day is and we want to help you make it even more special. Our customized wedding dance program gives you the confidence and skill to perform a variety of dances. When that magical moment arrives, your friends and family will be amazed by your elegance, style, and grace.

In a short amount of time, our qualified instructors can help you learn a few basic steps or, if you have more time, choreograph the whole dance for you. Whether you want just a few steps to get by or  choreographed dances for the entire wedding party, we're here for you!

This is also a great way to have fun and relax, before and after the Big Day.  Enjoying time together while learning how to dance is a great hobby for any couple to share. Your first dance is such an everlasting expression of love and commitment. So come to Steps Ahead Dance Studios and give everyone at your wedding a dance to remember.

How long will it take?
How many lessons you will need obviously depends on what you want to achieve. A fully choreographed dance will take longer to ensure that you have a polished routine and feel comfortable with the end result .  It is your big day and we want you to feel relaxed and enjoy your moment. From experience we find that 8 private lessons are enough for a couple to learn their fully choreographed first dance. 

What if we don’t have a song yet?
We can help you to choose a song that’s appropriate to you and the kind of dance you’d like to learn during our free consultation session. We have a large and eclectic range of music in the studio and hope to have something for everyone. A good starting point is to perhaps let us know the kind of music that you enjoy, especially if you have unusual taste! 

Do we need to bring anything?
Just yourselves and a pen drive with your music (if you have it) is all we need to get started! Nearer the day some couples choose to practice in the shoes they will be wearing and it can help prepare the bride by dancing in a longer skirt. It can also really help the instructor choreograph your routine if they know small details about the dress to ensure you don't have any issues on the day. For example; will you have a very long train, is the dress very fitted around the legs, do you have a high tiara or headpiece that could get in the way of any turns? We can adapt the routine to suit all eventualities!
